I'm just finalising the details before producing a poster, but I wanted to let you all know that on Saturday 27th June we, in collaboration with the Allotment Association, are organising a talk by local ecologist Felix Sadlo. Felix has a smallholding near California Cross which he farms in a regenerative fashion, guided by organic and biodynamic principles using a no dig system. He has kindly agreed to come and give a talk to allotment holders and any gardeners in the village who are interested in learning more about the no dig system and who would like guidance as to how to garden to make their gardens or allotments more beneficial to wildlife, whilst also being very productive.
Saturday 27th June
10am to 12pm
Talk followed by refreshments and a guided tour of the allotments currently being cultivated in a wildlife friendly way, to give you all inspiration!
Venue: Will either be held entirely at the allotments OR the talk will be at the Pavilion followed by a guided tour of the allotments - I will keep you posted! If wet, the talk will definitely be in the Pavilion.
All are welcome!
